If you purchased your home in London ten years ago you would probably have seen a significant gain in its value.  The average home price in London has increased 98.8% since February 2010.  Most of that gain has been in the last five years.

The increases are continuing in 2020, with the average home price increasing 10.5% in February when compared to the same period in 2019.  The East London area realized the most significant gain against February 2019 with a 21.8% increase.  The South area achieved a 11.4% increase in the average home price versus the same month in 2019 and the North area showed a more subdued 6.6% rise.  As expected, the Market Advantage Indicator rose to 71.1 as demand for homes increased in February.

Successfully navigating through the selling and buying process in London requires that you select a local Realtor that you trust.  Someone who knows the London market and can create a strategy with you that will meet or exceed your expectations.  If you are thinking of selling and/or buying a home in the next few months, please contact me and we can start the process rolling with a one hour planning meeting.  We will briefly review the real estate environment, discuss your sell/buy criteria and prepare you for the meeting with your Lender/Financial Institution.
